摘要
In this paper, a new predicting method is presented to forecast the structural fractures of the reservoirs by means of the characteristics of the curvature distribution of the microstructures. The specific method is that the top face of the studied strata is regarded as the surface of a sphere, the average curvature of the partial microstructural top face can be obtained by the radius “R” of the sphere in the surface, so the developed degree of the fractures can be predicted with the help of the values of the curvatures. Meanwhile, taking the underwater distributary channel microfacies in Zhuang No. 2 fault block as an example, the development of the micro-fractures of the channels in the study area can be predicted.
