摘要
All the bauxite deposits in Northwest China formed in carbonate sediments with ancient weathering crusts.Their primary deposit types are as follows,the Xinjiang Ayili type,the Shaanxi Tianqiaoze type,the Gansu Dataizi type,and the Shaanxi Guanping type.Comparison analysis shows that in Northwest China,from the known distribution and display sections,the most favorable conditions for forming bauxite deposits are in the Ordos block that belongs to westward extension of the bauxite layer in North China.It should be the best strategic selection for prospecting of bauxite deposits in Northwest China.
