The survey results of regional geology, tectonics, and hydrogeology show that the confined and artesian thermal water from the Guide Group is pathogenic reason for fluorosis and arseniasis. The confined aquifer with two abnormal centers has a buried depth less than 400 m and its distribution is controlled clearly by the compression-shear fault with NNW striking and tension-shear fault with NEE striking. The abnormal area around the tension-shear fault with NEE striking spreads as an ellipse with a 5 km width and a 10 km length. Fluorin and arsenic concentrations vary between 0.35～4.57 mg/L and 0.112～0.318 mg/L, respectively, and their concentrations increase with depth and temperature.
