 The high purity silica resource was mostly derived from quartz vein in Donghai area of oft-com:office:smarttags" />Jiangsu Province. Along with the development of national silica industry, the consumption of silica was increased and upper resources were nearly exhausted and an effective method to search silica in the buried zone was urgent. Based on the analyses and studies on the geological occurrence and occurring characteristics in quartz vein area and the difference of electrical resistivity on the wall rock, the authors conducted, based on the known ore bodies, a contrast test in terms of diversified spot distance, line distance and depth, and the results demonstrated that the geophysical electricity method was feasible.oft-com:office:office" />
