Based on the studies of the geology and geochemistry of typical gold deposits, as well as the distribution and genesis of gold deposits and occurrences in the Duobaoshan area of Heilongjiang Province, the gold metallogenic rule is analyzed. The results show that the gold mineralization is controlled by NW- and NE-trending faults, of which the NE-trending faults, are dominated. The ore-forming fluids are mainly from meteoric water. The homogenization temperature of fluid inclusions ranges from 133 ℃ to 267 ℃.The genesis of the gold deposits in the area belongs to typical epi-mesothermal ore deposit. At last, some prospecting criteria are proposed for the further exploration in the area and the prospecting orientations are determined.
