This paper surveys and summarizes the characteristics of the loose mudflow gully sediments of Shicheng Town in the north of Beijing. The static reserve of the loose sediments is measured by Ground Penetrating Radar. At the same time, the scour depth of primary mudflow is measured in the field. The dynamic reserve of the loose sediments of the mudflow gully is calculated by a model based on the static reserve and the scour depth.
