摘要
The Chepaizi area in western margin of Junggar Basin is characterized by the binary-system-tracts sequence framework of fore-uplifted-back-uplifted slope belt of sub-foreland basin. This paper presents in-depth researches of sequences of the Carboniferous and the above strata, including the identification of five isochronous sequence interfaces and the classification of three second-order sequence groups and four third-order sequence groups. Finally, this paper develops sand-body prediction model and determines the favorable facies belts in this area.
