摘要
Large-scale Emeishan basalt widely distributed in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou polymetallic belt, with most of lead-zinc deposits occurring in the Emeishan basalt. Based on the summary of previous data, combined with geological facts, this paper consider that there is no genetic connection between Emeishan basalt and lead-zinc deposits, and speculation in the mineralization process, it is believed that the basalt provided thermal power, activated and extracted metallogenic material from strata during the mineralization period, basalt played the role as a “block level” to promote the formation of deposits and as a “protective level”.
