Based on the data of different
    time scales and lower limit magnitudes, this paper analyzes the
    temporal/spatial distribution characteristics of seismic activities in the
    north of Jiangxi Province and its adjacent regions. The results show that
    the seismic activities are obviously in groups. And that the seismological
    anomaly at short and intermediate period before the moderate-strong earthquakes
    mainly include the seismic gap, seismic belt or area with centralized/increased
    moderate earthquakes. The moderate-strong earthquakes may possibly occur in
    this region, so it is highly important to attach great importance to the seismic
    status and developments in this region.
