In order to guide the work of the exploitation of oil and gas in Shubei basins,this paper studies on the distribution of the low resistivity reservoir in Subei basin by using a new method which can analyze the distribution characteristics of the low resistivity reservoir on the basis of the member of layer and emphasis of the structural factors.The result indicated that low resistivity reservoir mainly distributed in the Shawa structure belt of Gaoyou Depression and the Biandong oilfields and Minqiao oilfield of Jinhu Depression in Subei Basin.On the basis of the founded reservoir,new reservoirs are identified,then the thickness and areas of reservoir are enlarged,and the oil region production was increased.The outcome of the research gained preferable economic benefit for the Subei basin.
