In the paper, starting with tectonic evolution and metallogenic tectonic division, combined with analysis of some typical deposits such as Galinge, Kendekeke, Yazigou-yingqinggou, Niukutougou etc., the metallogenic division are made in Qimantage area of Qinghai Province based on analysis of metallogenic condition, geological characteristics, ore-controlling factors and ore genesis, which are divided into 5 metallogenic sub-belts. Main attack deposit type and prospecting potential are separately discussed, it provides scientific basis for further work arrangement of geological prospecting.
