The metallogenic types and ore control factors of the Jianduanshan lead-zinc deposit are similar to that of the Bafangshan copper-lead-zinc deposit. The major occurrences of ore bodies are located in prone position and steep flanks of overturned anticline of Bafangshan-Jianduanshan. The favorable positions for metallogenesis lie in secondary anticline and syncline locally. Hence, it is estimated that it is possible for concealed ore bodies occurring in secondary syncline nearby Bafangshan-Jianduanshan anticline, which would be a major prospective area for finding out concealed ore bodies in future.
