摘要
The writer has considered that the stratigraphic sequence of nonmarine Cretaceous—Paleocene in the Tantou Basin of Henan Province should be ( from bottom to top) the Qiuba Fm. ,Gaoyugou Fm. ,Tantou Fm. and Dayu Fm. The stratigraphic sequence of nonmarine Cretaceous—Paleocene in the Ruyang Depression of the same Province should be ( from bottom to top) the Jiudian Fm. ,Xiahedong Fm. ,Haoling Fm. ,Xiadonggou Fm. and Shitaijie Fm. Based on the petrostratigraphic,biostratigraphic and sedimentological events,it has been considered now that the K—T boundary in the Tantou Basin is only the parallel unconformity. The geological age of the Haoling Fm. containing dinosaur and other fossils in the Ruyang Depression is considered to be middle—late Early Cretaceous. The contact relation between the Nanzhao Fm. and Mashiping Fm. is not pseudoconformity,but conformable contact,its chronological age may be Early Cretaceous.
