摘要
In this paper the coral fossils in the Ordovician reefs in the southern edge of the Ordos Basin are described. They include 14 species referred to 8 tabulate genera as Lichenaria,Amsassia,Rhabdotetradium,Syringoporella,Catenipora,Yao-xianopora,Plasmoporella,and Parastelliporella and 4 species referred to 3 rugosan genera as Dinophyllum,Ningnanophyllum, and Favistella. This study reveals that Lichenaria,Amsassia,Syringoporella were the main reef builders in the Middle Ordovician reef at Haoshihe,Qianxian County,Shaanxi Province.Catenipora,Plasmoporella,Favistella, occur in the breccia of the reef-front facies of the Upper Ordovician reef at Tiewadian,Chunhua County,Shaanxi Province.Yaoxianopora is a secondary reef-builder in the Middle Ordovician reef at Taoqupo,Yaoxian County,Shaanxi Province.
