     According to the seismic damage survey data of Yiliang M5.7, 5.6 earthquakes, we introduced the intensi- ty distributions and seismic damage characteristics of the earthquakes, and described the detailed earthquake damage situations of 17 disaster investigation points and 4250 households in two intensity abnormal areas. Then we analyzed seismic damage characteristics in intensity abnormal area, and preliminarily analyzed and discussed the reason of seismic damage abnormality in terms of geologic structure, coal-bearing strata, topography and ge- omorphology and rock property, building structure and quality etc.. Finally, the unfavorable factor of restora- tion and reconstruction in intensity abnormal were proposed.
