The Exploratory Study of the Colorimetry Index Reflect the Paleoclimate——As the Late Cretaceous Turonian of the Songliao Basin for Example

     In this paper,colorimetric methods were used to study the fifty-one samples collected from the fourth member of the Quantou FormationK2q4 and the first member of the Qingshankou FormationK2qn1 of SKWell in the Songliao Basin,and get the following conclusions:(1 By using the CIE1976 L a b color system,we found that the colorimetric index L and a,b and a of the samples assume observably negative correlationNegative correlation coefficient respectively achieve-0.564 and-0.663,L and b were showed observably positive correlation.2 By analyzing the correlation between the samples colorimetric index Lab and TOC%,we found that the band TOC% were present more significant negative correlation.The correlation between TOC% and Land a are not obvious.As part of the carbon cycle,organic carbon has important significance on paleoclimate research of the Songliao Basin,restricted by the total organic carbon contentTOC%,the bcould be a alternative index of the paleoclimate change.
