Aiming at next-generation batteries, research into sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) has shown good momentum and vigorous development. J. T. Chen, M. Q. Xue, and co-workers develop a novel layered SnSSe material as a high-performance anode for SIBs, as described on page 8645. The active material has features of low cost, high capacity, superior cyclability, and simple production process, suggesting its good prospects toward commercialization.
