Colloids: Facile Synthesis of Monodispersed Polysulfide Spheres for Building Structural Colors with High Color Visibility and Broad Viewing Angle (Small 3/2017)
Novel monodispersed polysulfide spheres with intrinsic high refractive index and light absorbing characteristics are designed and synthesized by B. T. Tang and co-workers in article number 1602565. The monodispersed polysulfide spheres are used to fabricate 3D ordered photonic crystals through a colloidal assembly method. Multiple bioinspired structural colors with high color visibility and broad viewing angle are achieved.
