In this study, a low cost hybrid thin film encapsulation (TFE) structure was developed for flexible AMOLED displays. It was demonstrated as a reliable technology and implemented on a 1.25″ truly circular flexible display. In addition, the processing parameters to fabricate the TFE structure were optimized to improve the optical properties and the subsequent display quality.
