X. Wang, X. Jiang, and co-workers describe on page 1299, that the coating of CaP scaffolds with a novel graphene oxide-copper (GO-Cu) nano-composite can promote vascularized bone regeneration via upregulation of Hif-1α expression in stem cells. The GO-Cu nanocomposite coating provides an effective method for the in vivo application of graphene materials and copper ions in regenerative medicine.
