In view of α-NaSrBO₃ undergoing a phase transition to β-NaSrBO₃ at LED working temperatures when used as host for phosphor-converted w-LEDs, the high-temperature phase β-NaSrBO₃ is stabilized at 25 °C by introducing Na⁺ and Ce³⁺.
