Reflection errors in single wavelength and ratio pyrometers were investigated.

Low emissivity, high ambient temperature and high view factors increases pyrometer measured error.

Both single and ratio pyrometers are susceptible to reflection errors.

Correction of these errors in temperature measurement is quite necessary.
