Ductile fracture in AA5083 sheet depends on temperature and strain rate sensitivity.

AA5083 rupture mechanism at room temperature is by critical shear stress when M=0.

Local necking at sheet surface leads to limit strains at high temperatures when M>0.

D-Bressan and M-K models were presented with good correlation with experimental FLC.

Both models can be applied to linear and non-linear strain path.
