The first graphene-based electrochemical nanosensor was constructed for the sensing of MTP.

GRE/PtNPs/NFN sensor exhibits superior electrochemical activity towards the electro-oxidation of MTP.

The significantly lower detection limit was observed among the carbon-based electrochemical sensors used in the analysis of MTP, up to now.

GR/PtNPs nanocomposite was synthesized by single-step reduction method.

The proposed sensor was successfully applied for the analysis of MTP in drug samples.
