The decay proceeds at leading order via a class="mathmlsrc">ce" class="mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0370269316302325&_mathId=si4.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316302325&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=0478a5da6ae961b8c054bb46a7348375">class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="10" width="48" alt="View the MathML source" style="margin-top: -5px; vertical-align: middle" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0370269316302325-si4.gif">cript>cal-align:bottom" width="48" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://origin-ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0370269316302325-si4.gif">cript>class="mathContainer hidden">class="mathCode">croll">bchy="false">→sccent="true">ss loop transition and is therefore sensitive to the possible presence of particles beyond the Standard Model. A first observation is reported with a significance of 5.9 standard deviations. The value of the branching fraction is measured to be class="mathmlsrc">ce" class="mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0370269316302325&_mathId=si5.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316302325&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=69bac0455e71c4dce989969e9456293b">class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="19" width="201" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0370269316302325-si5.gif">cript>cal-align:bottom" width="201" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://origin-ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0370269316302325-si5.gif">cript>class="mathContainer hidden">class="mathCode">croll">chy="false">(5.18±1.04±0.35ce width="0.2em">ce>0.62ce width="0.2em">ce>+0.67chy="false">)×106, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is related to external inputs. Triple-product asymmetries are measured to be consistent with zero.
