Influence of doping alkali metal ions on the structure and luminescent properties of microwave synthesized CaMoO4:Dy3+ phosphors

Ca0.98−xMoO4:Dy3+0.02,M+x (M = Li, Na, K) phosphors were synthesized rapidly by microwave radiation method in 30 min.

Influence of doping different alkali metal ions on the luminescent properties of samples was discussed.

A possible charge compensation mechanism of alkali metal ions doped CaMoO4:Dy3+ was proposed.

The doping of K+ improved the luminescent intensity of the sample significantly.
