We firstly introduce the coupling mechanism of air jets ejecting to the dynamic cross-flows.

Relative Warmth Index is selected to evaluate thermal comfort in transitional dynamic areas.

Enhanced air velocity can compensate temperature increasing in transitional areas.

The experimental RWI values of points move toward to comfort zone in coupling conditions.

Cross-flows are beneficial to the thermal comfort level under the vent in transitional areas.
