We analyzed offspring sex ratio produced by thermal fluctuation in nests of Crocodylus moreletii at three nest depths.
These results provide evidence that nest temperatures not only fluctuate considerably, but also that the extent of these fluctuations varies depending on the nest depth.
Nests exposed to high thermal variation produced mainly a single sex (female-bias).
