Planar graphene oxide-based magnetic ionic liquid nanomaterial (PGO-MILN) was synthesized and carefully characterized.

The prepared PGO-MILN exhibited excellent cleanup efficiency.

The adsorption mechanisms refer to synergistic effect between CP molecules and PGO-MILN.

The developed MSPE-LC–MS/MS method was simple, fast, sensitive and accurate.
