Immune parameter, HPT, transcript examined in shrimp receiving fucoidan after 0–144 h. Immune parameter, HPT proliferation increased after 3–24 h, to maxima after 48–72 h. Transcripts of LGBP, PX, proPO, astakine, HHAP were up-regulated to maxima after 48 h. Shrimp receiving fucoidan increased phagocytosis and clearance after 12–120 h. Shrimp exhibit defense against Vibrio, WSSV despite immune parameter back to origin.
