EcTRIM32 showed 93% identity to that of large yellow croaker. EcTRIM32 displayed fluorescence aggregates or spots in the cytoplasm. Overexpression of EcTRIM32 significantly inhibited fish virus replication. EcTRIM32 significantly enhanced the MDA5-mediated immune response. RING domain is essential for the antiviral activity of EcTRIM32.
