Lactobacillus acidophilus was successfully adsorbed on attapulgite. The kinetics and thermodynamics of adsorbed bacteria were investigated. The adsorption was a spontaneous and endothermic process. The adsorption could efficiently improved survivals of L. acidophilus cells.
