Dietary microbial floc potentiates immune response, immune relevant gene expression and disease resistance in rohu, Labeo rohita (Hamilton, 1822) fingerlings

Microbial floc meal was produced from biofloc based culture system. Dietary floc meal enhanced immune responses of Labeo rohita. Immune relevant gene expression was up-regulated by floc meal. Resistance of L. rohita against Edwardsiella tarda infection was increased. Inclusion of 4–8% floc meal showed best immunostimulatory potential.
