A modified SWAT model for a prairie watershed was tested in simulating nutrient export. Uncertainty of the modified SWAT model was estimated using SUFI-2. Management practice scenarios were evaluated to examine reductions in nutrients. Modeling indicated cover crops and filter strips reduce nutrient export from the study watershed. Modeling indicated conservation tillage resulted in increased phosphorous export.
