Cows were supplemented conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) during the transition period. Supplementing CLA during transition increased milk yield in early lactation cows. Milk fat percent was decreased but daily milk fat yield was not reduced by CLA. CLA supplementation improved first-service conception rate in primiparous cows.
