Nutrient fluxes are estimated based on porewater profile and laboratory incubation. Effects of redox conditions and bioturbation on nutrient fluxes are examined. Molecular diffusion alone is not the dominant process controlling nutrient fluxes. Sewage discharge and land reclamation have possible impacts on nutrient fluxes.
