Microbial community in acid sulfate soil was investigated by metagenomic sequencing. Aerobic incubation resulted in shifts in microbial communities in acid sulfate soil. Metagenomic assembly enabled construction of eight near-complete genomes. Three of binned genomes are novel strains. Genome annotation revealed a dominance of sulfur cycling genes.
