System using sonolysis and photolysis of hydrogen peroxide enhances hydroxyl radical generation and bactericidal activity. Irradiation time for bactericidal activity in this system is shortened, compared with sonolysis alone. This disinfection system does not reduce bactericidal activity under simulated endodontic condition.
