Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is the most aggressive form of biliary tract carcinoma. LncRNAs stimulate various signaling pathways in GBC resulting in either tumor progression or inhibition of tumor growth. LncRNA serum levels may provide novel diagnostic and/or prognostic biomarkers for GBC. Modulation of lncRNA levels may provide a new therapeutic approach for GBC treatment.
