The minor allele of SNP rs1136410 increased the risk of ARC. A consistent association was also found between SNP rs1136410 and cortical ARC. SNP rs1136410 interacted with smoking habit to increase ARC risk. SNP rs1136410 was correlated with lower PARP activities and higher 8-OHdG levels.
