The discussion on eco-innovation in manufacturing SMEs is an emerging topic. Twenty three mains determinants to eco-innovation in manufacturing SMEs were identified. Modeling was developed, systemic relations between determinants and alternative strategies to overcome barriers are proposed. Critical determinants: supplier/customer relationship, product/process eco-innovation methods/tools, policy instruments. Professionals can use the results of our study to focus resources (money, people and management time). Key points and research direction to advance in this emerging topic were identified.
