Experimental study of falling film evaporation heat transfer on superhydrophilic horizontal-tubes at low spray density

The superhydrophilic surfaces are prepared with contact angle close to 0°. The operating range of falling film evaporation is greatly extended. Superhydrophilic modification enhances the heat transfer coefficients at low flow rates. The heat transfer performance is about 2 times higher than that of the stable region.
