Iron ore sintering is the main SO2 emission process in iron and steel industry. Adding urea into granules bed reduces SO2 emission sharply. SO2 reacted with NH3 which came from the urea decomposing and generated (NH4)2SO4. Adding urea dose not influence on sintering indexes and sinter chemistry.
