Three isomorphic 2D layered Ln-MOFs were constructed by flexible tricarboxylic acid. A series of Eu3+/Tb3+ doped Ln-MOF 4 were fabricated and showed tunable luminescence. Ln-MOF 2 exhibited excellent fluorescence sensing for small molecules.
