2D ZIF-L and 0D ZIF-8 were synthesized by tuning the reaction conditions. ZIF-L and ZIF-8 were used to prepare hybrid membranes for ethanol dehydration. Hybrid membranes showed enhanced permeability and selectivity. Hybrid membrane filled with ZIF-L showed better separation performance.
