A PDMS/PVDF hybrid membrane was tested to study its antifouling property in MD. Polymeric PDMS microspheres showed a superhydrophobicity to suppress fouling. Anti-wetting properties enhanced with hybridizing of PDMS. Zeta potential of E-PDMS membrane surface showed a high negative value. Complete color removal and high quality water production were achieved.
