1.A series of halogenated matrinic butanes were synthesized and summarized their SAR against CVB3. Matrinic butanes are a new scaffold of -coxsackieviruse agents. Compound 8a exhibited potential potency against all coxsackieviruse B subtypes. Compound 8a displayed the excellent PK and safety profiles in vivo.
