Co-Cu-CaO catalysts for high-purity hydrogen from sorption-enhanced steam reforming of glycerol

99.27% hydrogen was directly produced from sorption-enhanced steam reforming of glycerol. A Co-Cu-CaO bi-functional catalyst is active and stable for SESRG. The presence of copper suppressed the formation of active coke species. The formation of stable few-layered grapenes minimized CO methanation consuming H2.
