[NH3(CH2)4NH3]CoCl4 related to the 2D perovskite hybrids of the formula A2MX4. Complete structure data of [NH3(CH2)4NH3]CoCl4 is provided. The structure form infinite layers of (organic/inorganic) connected by H- bond. Layered structure of hybrids resemble to self organized multiple quantum wells. Lattice energy and enthalpy are decrease as organic chain length increase.
