Kinetics and isotherms studies for congo red adsorption on mesoporous Eupatorium adenophorum-based activated carbon via microwave-induced H3PO4 activation

Mesoporous EAAC is prepared by one-step microwave-PA activation. Optimal item is indispensable, as AT of 673 K, HT of 30 min, PA dosage of 50%(wt). BET surface area is 1600 m2/g, average diameter is 3.1 nm, mesoporous achieves 85%. CO, POC groups are found to have good affinity over the congo red molecule. Equilibrium is not only affected by in-diffusion, but other control steps.
